Three decades of clinical research in Cologne.
For over three decades we have been conducting international clinical studies at the Cologne-Dünnwald site — embedded within our own general medical practice and a capable research network.
The Centre for Clinical Research Cologne-Dünnwald is an owner-run institution with a focus on metabolic diseases, respiratory conditions and vaccine studies. We work with national and international sponsors — from scientifically driven Phase II research through to large Phase IV observational studies.
What sets us apart
- Experience: more than 200 completed clinical studies since founding
- Personal support: a dedicated team of investigators and study nurses
- On-site practice: short routes between the study and routine care
- Verified safety: studies conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP, approved by the ethics committee
Our mission
We understand clinical research as a collaborative effort between the research centre and study participants. Taking part in a study is always voluntary. We take the time to explain everything and answer your questions openly and calmly — with no pressure at all. Participation aims to benefit your treatment; we are happy to discuss the details in a personal consultation.
